Child Sponsor Program

Our child sponsorship program enables supporters to directly provide assistance to students at our school, The Samaritan Nursery and Primary School in Soroti, Uganda. Over 270 children are educated at the school and provided with healthy meals and medical care. Students attend the school 12 months a year at a total cost of $250. We have 76 children sponsored for 2025. Sponsoring a child will provide everything the child needs for a 12 month school year (incl. their education, food, and medical care).

Steps:

1. To begin the process, please review and complete the Child Sponsorship Form.

2. Payment can be done by making a transfer using Zelle through your banking app or the Zelle app and sending to coreugandateam@gmail.com. With Zelle there is no fee allowing 100% of your contribution to go to Core Uganda. You can also pay by check for those in the U.S. and cashier’s check for international donors. Checks can be made out to: Core Uganda c/o Father Alex Ojacor 3318 Clarence Ave. Berwyn, IL 60402. Your sponsorship is tax deductible.

With your sponsorship, we will assign a child and you will receive the child's biography as an introduction. We have updates on the school children on our website and Facebook pages.

  • 1-payment of $250

  • 2-payments of $125

• Note: Once a sponsor, your participation will be carried into the next year, unless you choose to remove payment the next year.

CORE Uganda is a non-profit organization run by a committee of volunteers. All sponsorship go to the children.
